Our Story
With over a decade of experience working with startup companies, our founder has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by businesses striving for growth and efficiency. In a pivotal role as head of finance, he successfully scaled a business from $7 million to $45 million per year, showcasing his expertise in driving financial success.
Our journey into the landscape, drainage, and hardscape industry began through a coworker and friend’s introduction. Instantly captivated by the business and the people in the industry, our founder noticed a common thread among these businesses: a lack of data-driven bookkeeping, poor operational and financial processes, and general disorganization. Many businesses were trying to manage everything at once, leading to inefficiencies and missed opportunities. Key areas such as customer communication and follow-up, lead conversion, reputation management, job costing, profitability and strategic analysis, and cash flow management were often neglected.
Recognizing that many of these issues could be resolved with a few strategic changes, the idea for The Landscape & Drainage CFO was born. In search of solutions, our founder discovered a unique software that addressed many of these pain points. This breakthrough led to the creation of a company dedicated to helping businesses streamline their operations and focus on what they love.
